**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Billings Operations Manager the Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing functions are performed accurately and timely manner. This will be in line with regulatory obligations, market rules, policies, procedures and delegated authority all whilst providing an excellent service.

Other responsibilities will be:

- Perform adequate control checks on automated and manual AR and Billing processes to ensure accurate billing of customer/member accounts.
- Investigate and resolve data integrity issues and billing discrepancies before billing and charging customer/member accounts.
- Handle all verbal and written communication to internal stakeholders in a positive, timely and professional manner.
- Process and maintain daily and monthly reconciliations for all relevant accounts as per RACV’s policies and procedures as required
- Work with the Financial Operations team to continuously improve process and reporting outputs.

The Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist will be able to deliver results and meet customer expectations as well as following instructions and procedures. You will possess analytical and problem-solving skills including a sound understanding of AR and Billing processes.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable, Billing, or similar role.
- Proven experience in a customer/member service focused environment.
- Demonstrated operational understanding of large transactional volume-based service
- Demonstrated experience in reconciling customer and GL accounts.
