**The Opportunity**
Our highly skilled and professional Communications & Marketing team ensure the successful marketing of the Institute’s master brand, help us to communicate the impact of our world-class research and are responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the Institute including media, marketing & branding, social media & websites, the intranet and events.
In line with our strategic vision, we now have an opportunity for a Manager, Internal Communications help drive internal engagement and a positive workplace culture through the development and implementation of effective and creative communication strategies, aligned with the Institute’s strategic plan and leadership team’s priorities
Reporting to the Head, Strategic Communications this role will focus on change management, providing high level advice, designing and implementing strategies to enhance internal communications across all of The Kids’ sites.
Some of your duties in this role will include, but not be limited to;
- Developing communications strategies to assist the successful delivery of strategic projects.
- Identifying and actioning critical communications processes and timelines required for successful internal communications.
- Providing communication advice and counsel to the Institute’s Executive and Science Leadership Team on key strategic initiatives and special projects and create the required documents to support them in communicating information.
- Establish and maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships through effective communication and negotiation in order to develop new initiatives and ensure successful outcomes.
Conveniently based at Perth Children’s Hospital, this role will be offered on a full-time basis.
**About You**
The successful applicant will not only have a Degree in Communications and demonstrated previous experience in leading change communications but also a passion and talent for storytelling with a genuine interest in science and health research and how it impacts children and families.
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Experience in change management communications.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to network, negotiate and work collaboratively with key internal and business stakeholders.
- Digital experience across websites and content management systems.
- Experience coordinating and managing corporate events.
