Nedlands, Australia TPRC Full time

Company Description

TPRC is a trusted partner to Australian businesses looking to add skilled talent to their teams. Our Perth and Manila-based teams work hard to find great opportunities for great people and are justifiably proud of their success.

We’re experiencing significant growth across the business which shows no sign of slowing down, so it’s a brilliant time to join us as we move into the next phase of our journey.

**About the role**:
We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join us and make sure TPRC adheres to legal standards and in-house policies, risks are identified and appropriate mitigation strategies are developed.

As a great Compliance Manager, you’ll be well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices. You have high ethical standards and work diligently to complete your duties, keeping in mind the objectives of the business. You’ll be comfortable saying “no” when necessary, whilst being commercially aware and results oriented.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement and maintain the company's risk management and compliance programs
- Ensure that all policies, procedures and processes align with applicable regulations and standards
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze results to determine areas for improvement
- Communicate risk and compliance information to various internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and regulations, and provide guidance and recommendations for the company's response

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in Compliance and Risk management roles who knows what great looks like and is ready to implement new ideas and ways of working for TPRC. We think this is a perfect role for someone who is ready to have a significant impact in an environment where you will be given the trust and autonomy to make the best decisions about how to structure and run things. You’ll need to be comfortable in a small (but growing) team and able to think commercially, be tactical, and take on responsibility for getting things done - including making everyone complete any necessary training

**We think you will need**:

- Proven experience as a Compliance and Risk Manager
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations in areas such as Data Protection and Privacy, Modern Slavery, Insurance, HR and Immigration
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
- An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience
- A degree in a relevant field or industry certification would be advantageous
- A sense of humour and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done
