About the role
We want to be the industry leader in how we manage Non-Financial Risk to keep our customers, employees and our business thriving. We’re on a mission to build a better, simpler bank, so we are transforming the way we manage Non-Financial Risk
The more complex our business, the more it makes sense to have a consistent way of managing Non-Financial Risk, therefore we are doubling our efforts to embed an enterprise-wide, Non-Financial Risk Framework - the I.AM Framework

- Clear roles and responsibilities and target operating model for NFR Risk & Compliance management across both Australia Retail & Australia Commercial Divisions
- Robust NFR management and capabilities
- Accurate data on our NFR risk environment, compliance responsibilities, controls and remediation to reduce NFR risks
- Delivering automated tool and process improvements for NFR risk management
The purpose of this role is to execute on the change and communications mechanisms that will drive the successful implementation of the revised Non-Financial Risk Framework across Australia Retail & Australia Commercial Divisions, representing a significant portion of ANZ systems, process and customer base.

What will you bring?
We know not everyone will bring all of the skills and experience, and at ANZ we are focused on people bringing a growth mindset to their approach to work. Some of the skills we are looking for are below, but don’t worry if you don’t have all of these as learning on the job is the way we work.
But back to some of the skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening, and interpreting and innovative problem-solving skills
- Strong change management and communication experience
- Ability to develop training materials, document procedure guides, update collaterals and write communication

So, why join us?
ANZ is a great place to grow. We know our people look to their leaders to understand what is and isn’t valued.
Developing a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture. It means we actively encourage people to try new things so we can improve. With effort, we can all learn and grow.
We ask our leaders to practice daily leadership behaviours - things like connecting with empathy, empowering people, growing people selflessly, being curious and creating shared clarity. These are the leadership behaviours we need to transform ANZ. We support our leaders with tools, tips and online coaching.
Supporting the wellbeing of our people is core at ANZ which is why we cherish the people-first culture we are famous for and why the Australian Financial
Review rated us the number 1 place to work in the banking and finance industry for 2021.
We work flexibly at ANZ and encourage you to talk to us about how this role can be flexible for you. Some of the work we do can be done from home, and some from an ANZ workplace - it’s all about what works for your team, and above all else, our customers
We know many of our roles can be done outside the ANZ workplace so people in these roles can choose
