Are you obsessed with video content and have a love for beauty? Are you an expert on the TikTok platform’s algorithm? Are you ready to help create and execute TikTok strategy and content creation for Australia’s leading Luxe-for-Less beauty brand? Then this role might be for you
You will be responsible for MCoBeauty’s TikTok strategy and content creation in collaboration with our team, bringing fun content ideas and trends to life through quick filming execution and delivery.
Passionate about what you do, you will take charge of TikTok content and be supported in driving and growing this channel.
**The opportunity**:
In this hands-on role, you'll create content for TikTok with the scope to try new things.
- Develop the global TikTok strategy with a focus on growth of the channel, engagement and conversions
- Work closely together with Performance Manager to advise on paid strategies
- Be the go-to person for what’s trending and how to work best with ever-changing algorithm
- Produce engaging video content for TikTok platform
- Work and collaborate with the Social Media, Influencer and Performance
- Evaluate ROI and analyse social media insights to guide future campaigns
- Increase brand awareness, user engagement
- Cultivate and grow our community engagement
- Balance TikTok schedule with planned content and trending content
**In this role you will**:
- Imagine and create exciting, innovative social media that is video content led to drive exponential audience growth across the MCoBeauty TikTok
- Work closely and collaboratively by developing and pitching ideas to the Social Media Team to align on metrics of success and expectations of content look and feel, ensuring it is hitting brand goals.
- Creative development of content, including videography (pre-production, shoot and post-production).
- Use your strong written communication skills to create engaging copy and captions for social posts.
- Support the team in growing community and audience across multiple platforms.
**We would love to hear from you if you have**:
- Solid understanding of TikTok’s algorithm and both organic and Paid platform strategies
- 2+ years of videography and content production experience.
- Strong videography, brand knowledge and a feel for design aesthetics
- Social media and/or digital content creation experience.
- Ability to communicate smoothly with team members of all levels.
- Understanding of how to reach and grow social audiences and engagement.
- Video editing includes editing, colour grading and basic audio treatment.
- Ability to identify the latest trends and trending moments and jump on these opportunities as soon as they arise.
- A passion for social media and a drive for creating best-in-class video content
- Deep understanding of creating content including short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Stories and TikTok.
An interest in creating content in beauty and lifestyle is highly preferable.
