The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving account growth. You'll be the main point of contact for key clients, leading kick-off calls, overseeing day-to-day communications, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Working closely with the Account Director and internal teams, you'll help bring campaigns to life while identifying opportunities to expand client partnerships. From tracking budgets and timelines to maintaining brand consistency, you'll ensure every detail is managed with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead kick-off calls for new projects, ensuring clear objectives, alignment, and smooth onboarding.
  • Act as the point of escalation for client concerns, proactively addressing issues and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manage day-to-day communications for select clients, ensuring seamless service and client satisfaction.
  • Attend and lead weekly WIP meetings with clients, providing strategic updates and maintaining alignment across projects.
  • Respond to all client briefs, leading internal teams to develop compelling proposals that drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue upselling opportunities, expanding client engagement and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Oversee quoting, budgeting, and commercial discussions, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain consistent client communications and service standards across all accounts, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's brand, history, and strategic objectives, acting as a brand expert within the team.
  • Keep track of past projects, creator preferences, and campaign learnings, ensuring effective talent alignment.
  • Oversee project administration, including setting up jobs in Notion and ensuring proper documentation (campaign managers to complete details).
  • Manage procurement processes, PO requests, and invoice tracking, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Handle client agreements, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution.
  • Monitor head hours against Scope of Work (SOW) using Jibble, identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct weekly internal catch-ups with project teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
  • Lead weekly external meetings with clients, providing strategic updates and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in account management and revenue generation.
  • Understanding of the Australian digital media landscape, including influencer marketing and content creation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms within the Australian context.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
