**About the role**:
This role will be responsible for implementing effective talent acquisition programs; attraction, marketing, advertising, recruitment & selection process whilst supporting Council with the design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition related services including policies, procedures, forms and tools to support manager and employees across the business with both temporary & permanent recruitment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement effective talent acquisition programs ie. Attraction, marketing, advertising, recruitment and selection process and policies.
- Monitor the process of all talent recruitment activities to ensure compliance with relevant legislative, Award and policy guidelines
- Administering of Council recruitment process from end to end for all positions utilising related e-recruitment functionality (request documentation/advertising/coordinate of pre-employment medicals/writing letters of appointment).
- Educating, training and supporting all hiring team in the effective utilisation of e-recruitment module to support hiring decisions.
- Reproducing reports in all matters of recruitment.
- Participate in Recruitment panels when required.
- Liase with our preferred agency suppliers - to engage agency hires.
- Provide best practise advice for all Managers in matters of recruitment process, awards and agency hires.

**Key Skills**:

- At least 3 years experience in end to end recruitment, including drafting job advertisements and interviewing
- Abilty to build effective working relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of HR policies and practices in order to understand the linkages between Talent Acquisition and other practice areas
