An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Digital Channels Manager to join a state government department based in Parramatta. This role will be for 6 months with the potential for extension.

**Your new role**

***:

- You will lead a team of specialists responsible for the ongoing operations of user centric, accessible online communication products (websites and intranets) to achieve organisational objectives of delivering customer service excellence
- Lead and coach a team to provide expert advice and services to business areas throughout the department to develop, test and implement digital products
- Assist and support the development and implementation of effective digital strategies, standards, governance frameworks and product operations practices

**What you'll need to succeed**

***:

- Government experience or large enterprise environments is preferable
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology or a related discipline
- Experience in product management and operational maintenance of a range of online communications products including intranet and internet websites
- Experience in industry standard visitor analytics and content management systems
- Understanding of the regulatory environment for government online communications, including security, accessibility, usability, compliance with legislative requirements, brand management and procurement
