We are a small Knoxfield based family business that has been operating in the Building and Joinery industry for 40 years.
With a staff of 20, this is a professionally run company, with a philosophy of honesty and integrity being a fundamental driving force. We are not biased in saying we are the leaders in our industry and respected by our customers and the envy of our competitors.
We are looking for just the right person to take on the role of Office Manager, working alongside and supplying administrative support to our senior team.
This position is seen within our business as the linchpin through which most operations pass and this person will be highly appreciated by all staff as you support us with your patience, attention to detail and “let's all work together” attitude.
All our systems and procedures are fully documented and diarised, as such much of your work is pre-set and pre-organised. Difficult tasks are systemised and all passwords are recorded to ensure these tasks are as easy as possible to process, including step by step documented instructions.
The position is currently offered as full time or part time (preferably 9am to 3pm Mon - Fri), but this is open to discussion.

**Your Duties will include**:
- General reception and adhoc duties
- Completing, dispatching, and collating a range of paperwork for suppliers and customers
- Forge and manage strong relationships with customers and service providers
- Weekly payroll data entry and processing using Reckon Payroll program
- Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Other general administrative duties required on a day to day basis to ensure the smooth running and continual professional appearance of our company.
**To secure this position working alongside our amazing team, you will need to possess a minimum of 3 years recent administrative experience and a can do attitude.**
**You will need to**
- have a good understanding of the Microsoft program suite.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possess a professional, confident, and friendly manner.
- Proficient in using Reckon accounting software would be an _advantage _but training will be provided.
- Ability to work on your own within a small business environment.
- Possess good problem solving skills as well as the ability to show initiative and make well-reasoned decisions on the run.
- The ability to just roll up your sleeves and get things done and not be limited in your thinking to who is working harder or longer than others or who has had coffee more breaks this week than someone else.
