**Café Manager - East Melbourne**

**About the role**

Are you a passionate and experienced leader in the hospitality industry? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager for our popular cafe located in East Melbourne. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of **$65,000 per year plus superannuation.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe. Your key duties will include:_
- Managing the front-of-house and back-of-house staff ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Creating staff schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demands.
- Training and developing the team, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting teamwork.
- Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and managing stock control.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Implementing and maintaining efficient operational procedures to optimize productivity and profitability.
- Managing customer feedback and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure the availability of high-quality products.

**About you**
- Previous management experience within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Proven ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays, as required.
