Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Executive Assistance.

- demonstrated the capacity to develop a good understanding of the role of the Internal Audit function
- demonstrate similar experience in an executive or administrative support role

**Key duties**

Under the direction of the Chief Auditor, you will:

- Make decisions using good judgment to effectively manage the electronic diary for the Chief Auditor
- Manage a record of and monitor hard copy correspondence coming in and out of the office of the Chief Auditor to facilitate workflow in line with timeframes
- Print and conduct quality assurance activities on correspondence provided to the Chief Auditor
- Request information from work areas to assist with meeting preparations.
- Book travel and make necessary arrangements for the Chief Auditor in line with the department travel guidance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key work areas and external stakeholders to complete your duties.
- Work with Directors to set agendas for branch and Director meetings.
- Communicate information from the Chief Auditor to staff in the Internal Audit Branch as requested.
- Maintain a professional network with EAs, EOs and other parties in order to complete assigned tasks and to build corporate knowledge.

To support the activities of the Internal Audit Branch you will:

- Maintain awareness of changes that may impact the work or the Branch/Division.
- Book meeting rooms for Audit and Risk Committee meetings, branch events and escort visitors. Set up and pack down after meetings and events
- Assist the Secretariat team to prepare meeting packs for members when required.
- Maintain resources (stationary, asset stocktakes) to enable the efficient running of the branch.
- Assist with procurement related tasks and data entry
- Build a good working knowledge of relevant computer hardware, departmental systems, and technology such as SAP, Intranet, EDRMS and PeopleSoft.
