We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who will work closely with the Financial Controller in all financial areas of the business.

**Primary Purpose of Role**:
We are looking for a switched-on, pro-active Accounts Receivable Officer who is capable in a varied role, someone who can prioritise and multitask. As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play an integral part in the team and be responsible for the full function Accounts Receivable processes. This role would suit a team focused, results driven person who enjoys jumping in with the team to help out with deadlines and day to day administrative tasks to ensure a collaborative work environment and getting the job done.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enter daily customer payments then balance and deposit
- Manage cheques, EFT and Armaguard, prepare deposits for banking
- Handle customer account inquiries and credits
- Reconcile Weekly Stock on Hand report from off-site freezers
- Prepare invoices and process payments
- Identify overdue accounts and follow up
- Maintain and manage system
- Run Debtor Aging Report and manage all collections
- Credit Applications - Includes searches through Creditor-Watch
- Manage Chep pallets, reconcile, returns and transfers
- General support to the office team and management as required

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Previous experience in similar role
- Proactive, willingness to learn and motivation to get things done
- High attention to detail, excellent reconciliation and time management skills
- Enjoys working in collaborative and fast paced environment
- Clear and confident verbal communication skills
- Eager and motivated in calling debtors/clients in following up overdue invoices - to ensure company receivables remains a high priority
- Ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion and sound judgement at all times
