Accounts Receivable Officer

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. You will be expected to work closely with other members of the finance team, as well as with our clients and vendors, to ensure timely and accurate payments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts receivable professional who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic and fast-paced industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage cash flow and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and errors
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment
- Provide regular reports on accounts receivable performance to the finance team
- Assist with other financial tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Experience using ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

- STRATHFIELD SOUTH, NSW 2136: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounts receivable: 2 years (preferred)
