**About the team**
The scope of this role sits within Coles Group Limited, supporting all brands across the Coles Group Portfolio (i.e. Express, Liquor, Coles Services, Distribution Centres, RROA, Chef Fresh and Supermarkets). The Coles Group consists of 130,000 employees spanning across Australia. The primary purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently perform required testing for key project and program delivery; ensuring all defects are recorded and managed to resolution.
**About the role**
A permanent opportunity as a Payroll Test Analyst supporting our Payroll Centre of Excellence team and supporting all brands across the Coles Group Portfolio.
- Perform testing related activities of the payroll systems environment to ensure that any system change has been configured correctly and is operating in accordance with payroll requirements. System changes can be due to changing business requirements and or regular product enhancements.
- Perform testing related activities of the payroll systems environment to ensure that any production issue which has been fixed delivers expected results and has not regressed existing system functions or business processes.
- To recommend system upgrade and continuous improvements. To identify smarter, faster and more innovative ways to enable the payroll landscape and payroll compliance via technology solutions.
- To provide input from a payroll system perspective across Coles to ensure that payroll systems and requirements have been interpreted, understood and configured appropriately to reduce non-compliance risk across the systems landscape.
**About you and your skills**
We’re after highly skilled professionals with considerable experience in payroll testing.
You’ll also need:
- Proven experience in a payroll systems environment of SAP/SuccessFactors ECP
- Experience and strong knowledge within user acceptance testing environments and system performance analysis
- Exposure to regression testing ie designing and maintaining a suite of regression tests which can be executed during each release
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of key testing principles and an understanding of test automation tools
- Proven ability to understand and follow test execution and acceptance plans
- Ability to create test summary reports and report in line with defect management practices
- Ensure all works completed are in line with payroll testing strategy and align to the values of Coles Group.
- Previous experience with the creation and use of test data for test automation
- Proven ability to deliver in both waterfall / agile / hybrid environments
- Ability to manage risk-based testing in a critical and highly dynamic environment
