Senior Payroll Business Analyst - HR/Payroll Transformation
ASX-Listed Organisation | Long-Term Program | Immediate Start
We're looking for a seasoned Payroll Business Analyst (SME) to join a large-scale HR/Payroll platform migration for a leading ASX-listed company. This is a long-term program of work, and you'll be right in the thick of it - helping the business move from a complex legacy environment into a modern, enterprise-grade payroll solution.
You'll be someone who can roll up their sleeves and unpack how things are done today, documenting the "as is" processes, and working with the team to shape what the "to be" state should look like. The project is already in flight, so we need someone who can add value quickly, but also stay on for the bigger transformation journey.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Working with payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders to map out the current landscape and identify what needs to change.
- Defining the future operating model and supporting the move onto a new HR/Payroll platform.
- Ensuring compliance is front and centre - you'll bring deep knowledge of modern awards, EBAs, and statutory requirements.
- Acting as a bridge between business and technology to make sure requirements are clearly captured, tested, and delivered.
- Supporting end-to-end migration activities, from requirements through to testing and transition.
Key Skills, Experience & Background
- Strong background as a Senior Business Analyst with significant payroll project experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise HR/Payroll systems - ADP GlobalView would be ideal, but SAP, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or similar also valuable.
- A solid understanding of modern awards and compliance obligations in large, complex organisations.
- Someone who can get up to speed quickly and make an impact from day one.
- Great communicator, comfortable working with both senior stakeholders and payroll teams on the ground.
Why this role?
- High-profile program with visibility across the business.
- Long-term opportunity to be part of a core project team driving real change.
- Flexible, hybrid working with a collaborative, outcome-focused culture.
- Excellent Day Rate Available (Negotiable)
