Home Support Services (HSS) which is part of Medibank, has been providing in-home healthcare services since 1989. We understand that Australians want more choice over where and when they receive care. Where clinically appropriate, HSS offers people the flexibility of receiving healthcare and support services in alternative settings to hospitals, wherever they call ‘home’.

**The opportunity**

HSS is a purpose led organisation that is transforming the delivery of healthcare and we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team. In this newly created role, you will develop and deliver quality management activities for all programs within HSS, champion quality and compliance across the organisation, influence change and work with the stakeholders to lift the Quality standards across the organisation.

Reporting to the Senior Executive HSS, the role will lead quality improvement, compliance and assurance processes and provide advice on process and system developments/protocols and risk management activities to ensure alignment with evidence based best practice standards. Additionally, the role will support HSS to continually improve and mature the quality management systems while also creating increased agility to

enable health services to maximise on future business opportunities as they emerge.

HSS is located in Adelaide. The role can be located interstate however will require semi frequent travel.

**About you**

You have significant experience working within a healthcare setting and bring a strong knowledge of clinical governance and accreditation systems including aged care standards and National Safety and Quality Health Standards (NSQHS).

Additionally, you’ll have a strong understanding of continuous quality improvement along with the principles required for designing systems for clinical safety and quality.

With strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills, you understand the importance of communication in influencing change. You are happy to roll your sleeves up and develop processes, build out process maps and assist with writing from time to time.
