**About the role**

You may have heard that Babcock have recently been awarded a major multi-year program to upgrade the Australian Defence Force’s High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) and we are seeking a Quality Assurance Advisor to join this exciting new program

As our new Quality Assurance Advisor, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance planning, monitoring, auditing, reporting and advisory activities to meet company and customer requirements.

You will lead assurance activities and implement requirements of the Business Management System (BMS) and AS/NSZ ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System arrangements.

You will plan, develop and implement a program audit schedule in consultation with the program and provide assurance and support to investigate, manage and close-out customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

With strong attention to detail, you will have the ability to collate, analyse and present data and your strong interpersonal and communication skills will see you build robust relationships with stakeholders. You will also possess:

- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a maintain a Defence security clearance.
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role at in a similar Defence or high-risk industry.
- Knowledge of business management system standards such as ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management and AS/NZS 31000:2018 Risk Management.
- Knowledge of supplier quality auditing and internal quality management systems auditing.
- Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certificate for AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015.
