57 Hotel is a 100 room boutique hotel in Surry Hills. An opportunity for a Superstar like you has become available to join our current passionate and energetic team. The main purpose of this role is to provide superior service to our guests making their experience here at 57 Hotel "Exceptional, and Unique". KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Welcome our guests at check-in, cross referencing reservations details and farewell guests at checkout; - Attend to incoming calls by answering queries, and providing outstanding guest service; - Ensure all guest requests are accurately actioned with prompt follow through; - Create innovative ways to up sell additional services to our guests; - Take personal responsibility to ensure that all inquiries are addressed; - Enter all necessary data in the computer system and be able to balance at the end of a shift. In order to maintain these responsibilities the successful applicant must have: - Previous experience in front office or reservations in a similar environment ; - Knowledge of Room Master Property Management System would be highly advantageous; - Be honest, reliable, trustworthy and punctual; - Be able to work independently and within a team environment; - Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep cool under pressure; - Excellent attention to detail; - Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise; - Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook); - Exceptional customer service with internal and external guests; - Excellent grooming and professional presentation at all times; **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual **Salary**: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Christmas bonus - Quarterly bonus **Experience**: - Hotel & Accommodations Guest Services Staff: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
