**Business System Support Officer**

Due to the Security Clearance required for this role, applicants must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance.

**About the Position**:
The **Business System Support Officer** will be required to provided general administrative and user support to Austal’s various business systems including:

- SharePoint
- Microsoft TEAMS
- Manage Engine (Ticketing system)
- Other general systems and customer services

**Responsibilities**:
Provide user administration support:

- Technical support to end-users, resolving issues promptly, communicating technical concepts effectively with non-technical users.
- Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows including managing migrations.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to assist users in leveraging SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate effectively.

Systems improvements:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

System administration and support:

- Manage user permissions and access control to ensure data integrity and security.
- Provide advice to users to assist in improving their systems experience.

**Experience & Qualification**

**Essential**:

- Australian Citizenship and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security
- Tertiary qualification in IT, business, quality, change management or other related discipline.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and best practices.
- Demonstrated analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.

**Desirable**:

- Experience and/or training in IFS, Manage Engine or other ITIL based ticketing system.
- Experience administering business systems.
