
Office Administrator/bookkeeper

**Responsibilities**:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software then filing hard copies

- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- EOFY duties - Reconciling and Filling BAS Invoices
- Prepare and complete tax requirements alongside the Accountant.
- Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable
- Payroll: Including, Pay calculations, Entering Pay slips & Distributing through Microsoft Outlook. Assisting employees in any pay queries and handle payroll in a timely manner
**Requirements**:
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
**Experience and knowledge in MYOB Account Right is essential.**
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5 per week
**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
