**Salary: Band 3 - $63,329 - $67,440 + superannuation**

**Role includes an RDO**

**We are looking for a Municipal Maintenance Officer - sweeper driver to provide a high quality and responsive general maintenance service to council owned facilitates, buildings and assets within the municipality of Hobsons Bay.**

**What you’ll be working on**
- Operating the sweeper vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Sweeping streets, roads, sidewalks, and other public areas to remove debris, litter, and dirt.
- Manainge the sweeper's brushes, water sprayers, and other equipment.
- Monitoring and maintain proper sweeper performance.
- Laneway maintenance - removal of overgrown weeds and vegetation.
- Cleaning of public spaces such as toilets, benches, bins, footpaths, roads etc
- Installation and maintenance of minor assets such as street furniture and bin surrounds
- Cleaning and maintenance of Councils assets such as overgrown weeds in Laneways, drains, footpaths, and other public spaces.

**What you need to succeed**
- Good verbal communication skills.
- A current Victorian Driver’s License is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in using general hand and power tools is an advantage
- OHS certificates (White Card etc) is an advantage.
