MAINTENANCE OFFICER- Residential Aged care

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Officer to join our Residential Aged Care Facility team.

You'll bring energy, dedication, and a genuine passion for creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you'll play a key part in property upkeep, handling both planned and reactive maintenance, essential services, and minor works—all of which contribute to the organization's success and our commitment to delivering high-quality services.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated skills in building repairs and/or general building maintenance with knowledge/understanding of all building services systems.
  • Painting experience required
  • Relevant trade qualification (preferred).
  • Demonstrated skills in carpentry, painting, HVAC, fire, hydraulics, and electrical knowledge.
  • Knowledge and skills working with plant and equipment.
  • Commitment to customer service and aged/ disability care services.
  • Understanding of OHS requirements and responsibilities and demonstrated knowledge of manual handling/ plant requirements.
  • A current Victorian driver's license.
  • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Willing to obtain a NDIS Screening check
  • Ability to work with staff and contractors.
