**The Organisation**

HIA is Australia’s peak residential building industry body. The organisation operates across a diverse range of activities including a variety of commercial businesses, member servicing functions, and policy and lobbying initiatives.

**The Role**

This new role has been designed to be responsible for the business development, program coordination and customer success of specific services to assist in gaining a residential building licences or registration.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintaining appropriate expertise in builder registration requirements and processes;
- Identifying opportunities to encourage membership retention once licensing / registration is achieved; and
- identifying opportunities to solve problems through other HIA Business Solutions products and services.

**The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate**:

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
- Good computer literacy skills; and
- Motivated self-starter;
The following attributes would be viewed favorably:

- An understanding of the residential building industry and licensing / registration requirements, or strategies to acquire;
- Working knowledge of the Victorian Building Authority’s (VBA) information requirements;
- Experience working in either a membership organisation, the building-construction industry or the public sector is desirable; or
- A relevant business qualification.
