About the client:

Our client in the food industry, located in Broadmeadows, is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Production Coordinator with LF license to join their team for an immediate start on the day shift.

About the Role:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7 am to 3 pm
  • $36.25/hr + Super
  • Long-term ongoing with a view to permanency

Key responsibilities are:

  • Raw material handling - Receive, check, and store raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
  • Store items correctly, including temperature control and allergen separation.
  • Pick and prepare raw materials in the right order and quantity for production.
  • Work closely with the blending team to keep things running smoothly
  • Pack and palletize chilled/frozen soups to meet specifications.
  • Move finished goods to storage after QC approval, with correct labelling and FIFO (First In, First Out) handling.
  • Organize and schedule deliveries, pickups, and incoming goods
  • Work with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to make sure everything runs on time.
  • Do regular stock counts and keep inventory records accurate.
  • Check expiry dates and report any issues or differences in stock.
  • Safely operate forklifts (must be licensed).
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any problems.
  • Keep warehouse records up to date in the IPS system.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling rules (GMP, HACCP, WHS).
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

  • Current valid forklift license
  • Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience.
  • Understanding food hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and quality requirements
  • Workplace safety first attitude and follow the company's safety protocols.
  • Has reliable transport.
  • Available to start ASAP.
