**How will I help?**

Reporting to the Service Owner, you will be responsible for enabling more rapid innovation and delivery of processes, system improvements & technology to customers with market-leading merchant pricing and billing framework resulting in improved customer advocacy, greater revenue drivers and outcomes for the bank.

You will also be responsible for:

- Leading the achievement of Westpac’s strategy by working with internal stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, Product and Operations stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to support the MPT initiatives
- Defining and managing the requirements through the delivery lifecycle to meet business needs
- Providing and directing recommendations for process re-design and improvements and business solutions, enabling changes to processes, policy.
- Aligning requirements to the Human Centred Design findings to ensure an optimal experience for current and new merchant customers and enable them to meet their business goals without interruption to their business
- Extracting and manipulating data from internal data warehouses and reporting databases to provide recommendations on Merchants
- Basic reporting to monitor the progress of current work

**What do I need?**
- You will be a self-starter, able to work self sufficiently
- You will carry a wealth of business process improvement / re-engineering in the Merchant Acquiring space
- Ability to play a mentoring relationship for the wider team
- Capability to facilitate and foster stakeholder relationships
- Power to exercise governance and best practise
- A strong background in financial or business analytics
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Desire to be constantly challenged and develop new knowledge
- Previous education in a financial-related degree

Financial services background is essential.
