**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and versatile **Handyman** to join our team. This full-time role is generally **Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm**, with occasional weekend work as required. You will be responsible for the maintenance and presentation of our grounds, guest rooms, and common areas, ensuring they meet our high standards. The role involves both hands-on maintenance tasks and proactive preventative work, alongside friendly and professional guest interaction.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform basic repairs and small carpentry jobs
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas to a high standard
- Manage stock, tools, and supplies (storeman duties)
- Carry out swimming pool cleaning, testing, and general upkeep
- Provide guest assistance when required
- Undertake painting, touch-ups, and presentation improvements
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules
- Support the housekeeping team as needed
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OH&S requirements

- Proven experience in general maintenance or a relevant trade
- Practical building knowledge and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Friendly, customer-focused approach and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive “can-do” attitude
