**About the Location**

Wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing, mere footsteps away from Merry Beach in the small, beachside town of Kioloa, when you stay at Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach With many sites and cabins offering direct beach access and ocean views, choose from an array of accommodation options including private villas, cabins or two-story presidential stays, or get back to nature on a powered or unpowered camping or caravan site.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to attend to repairs and maintenance issues and maintain the appearance of the site. Working unsupervised, you will be highly motivated and capable of providing a high level of customer service.

**This is a permanent, full-time position.**

**Responsibilities**
- Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery
- Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
- Ensuring the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
- Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
- Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment
- Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
- Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration

**About You**
- Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
- Driver's Licence
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
