Maintenance Officer – Full Time

About the Role
We're currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring our village facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general home maintenance and repairs across 170 villas (with additional villas opening in 2027)
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on communal facilities
- Assist with internal villa reinstatement works (e.g., light demolition, refurbishment)
- Support the gardening and grounds team as needed
- Complete general handyman tasks as directed by management
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
About You:
You're a self-starter who takes pride in your work and thrives in a team environment. You have a strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and enjoy the variety that maintenance work offers.
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles
- Ability to tow trailers confidently
- A valid LR (Light Rigid) Driver's Licence
- A current First Aid certificate and valid Police Check
- A solid understanding of health and safety practices
- Full working rights in Australia
Experience working in a retirement or aged care setting will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
