**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director - Clients, Delivery & Growth ANZ; the Project Controls Officer will work across multiple SYSTRA ANZ work packages, with provision for schedule, cost, quality and contract management, risk and progress reporting. This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring and managing a baseline schedule against progress (including resource profiles and requirements). The Project Controls Officer will support the Project Controls Manager in preparing and reporting financial and progress updates and contribute to monthly reports and project reviews. This role will also support in maintain all project data structures relating to project controls and information management supporting the automated reporting and dashboards for the project
**Your new role**:
- Provide Support in updating the Project Schedule in Primavera P6 based on most recent update received from the Work Package Leads.
- Prepare detailed project reports providing financial and progress updates (burn rate, Cost Performance Index - CPI, Schedule Performance Index - SPI, Issues, risks etc..).
- Support in developing tools and preparing resourcing forecast.
- Support and maintain all data structures and integration between project controls functions (schedule, cost, risks etc..) and information management systems (Sharepoint, document mgt etc..).
- Update and monitor Change control table and Project Control Sheets with most recent contractual and commercial information.
- Monitor time-sheeting and booking of resources to deliverables per the contract and project forecasts
- Prepare Payment Approval Forms (PAF), on a monthly basis for the different client services.
**Required experience & skills**:
- Bachelor's degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline; Project Management Certification/chartership is desirable.
- 3-5 years' experience in project controls preferably within the rail or transport sector.
- Demonstrated experience in using P6 Professional 18.
- Proven ability to maintain all project controls.
- Solid experience of multidisciplinary coordination and project management.
- Proven abilities to build sound working relationships across diverse groups internally and externally.
- Ideally, some experience using various reporting, data analytics and programming software such as Power BI and/or python.
