**Your new role**
The Document Controller is responsible for the management of records and information for the Sydney Metro Eastern Tunnel project.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

- Reviewing client specific document control procedures and liaising with Project Managers to ensure project execution plans comply with client requirements
- Develop project specific processes as required and in conjunction with project stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and training to project stakeholders on all document control and document control system matters.
- Maintain integrity of the document filing and electronic document management systems to ensure that record keeping is up to date, accurate, and easily accessed as needed.
- Delivering accurate, timely transmission, issuance, and distribution of documents & correspondence to internal and external parties.
- Format, collate and conduct non
- technical quality & compliance checks on all documents which includes document number, revisions, status, title and other metadata requirements prior to internal use & issuing to external parties.
- Maintaining project related registers (including but not limited to incoming & outgoing documents, submissions, RFI’s, leave)
- Liaise with the Contractor Document Controller to ensure consistency of information and training where required, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Supports the production of the Project Documentation Management Plan and maintain it as well as preparation of project reports for the Project Manager as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Highly organized individual with practical hands-on experience in a major infrastructure project environment.
- High proficiency in the use of Projectwise & Teambinder as a records management and communication system.
- A working knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.
- Proven experience of working with electronic records management and information systems in a project environment.
- Intermediate to advance Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to the culture of teamwork and take on responsibility for achieving results.
- A strong attention to detail in all aspects of document and records control.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively and collaboratively, to facilitate and achieve desired outcomes and to establish and maintain strong, productive working relationships.
