We are currently recruiting for up to 3 Project Officers for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Sydney CBD. This is an initial contract until for an initial 6-12 months with strong possibility of extension and a pay rate of up to $550 per day + super. Hybrid WFH/Office arrangement.

The Project Officer will perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of capital works projects in line with established objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Project Director or Senior Project Director through either the planning or delivery phase of Capital Works projects.
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
- Support the implementation of appropriate project controls (risk, scheduling, budgetary and reporting)
- Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, Planning or Urban Design related fields.
- Previous experience in either the planning or delivery phase of large commercial construction projects ($10m +) such as Education, University, Health, Aviation, Commercial, Aged Care, Transport, Infrastructure or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
