Principal Strategy Officer

**Your Key Accountabilities will include**:
- Provide high quality strategic and independent advice on issues of strategy, planning, budget, performance and corporate governance and, the implications of recommendations contained in Cabinet documents and in draft legislation. Provide advice on various commercial and government initiatives and developments, and as appropriate, identifying and developing policy and implementation strategies for such initiatives to the Senior Executives and the Minister. Lead the identification of potential risks and issues, and developing innovative strategies and solutions that support quality business outcomes. Prepare and review complex reports and submissions including Cabinet and Ministerial submissions, briefing notes and departmental correspondence. Deliver presentations and reports to senior executives. Represent the department and manage liaison and coordination with government and non-government stakeholders in the development of programs, projects and policies. Undertake high-level research and critical analysis. Build and sustain partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders to assist with meeting organisational objectives.
