The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the success of Ideagen’s ANZ software solutions through strategic marketing initiatives. This role involves understanding market needs, developing compelling value propositions, and executing marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and product adoption. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure the effective promotion and positioning of Ideagen's software solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Develop and Implement Product Marketing Strategies **to support the launch and growth of Ideagen’s software solutions in ANZ.
- ** Market Research**: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Utilise insights to inform product positioning and messaging.
- ** Product Positioning**: Create compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for Ideagen’s solutions to ensure they resonate with target audiences.
- ** Go-to-Market Plans**: Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including managing product launches, promotional campaigns, and creating sales enablement materials.
- ** Sales Enablement**: Work with the sales team to develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations to support product sales efforts and enablement.
- ** Storytelling**: Utilise storytelling techniques to effectively communicate the benefits and value of Ideagen’s solutions.
- ** Building ICP’s & Buyer Group Personas**: Develop detailed ICP’s and personas to guide marketing strategies and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- ** Competitive Intelligence**: Gather and analyse competitive intelligence to stay informed about market dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- ** Product Campaigns**: Manage and optimise product campaigns across various channels to drive product awareness and lead generation.
- ** Support Content Marketing**: Create product content, including blog posts, articles, e-books, reports, product webinars, and other customer-facing documents.
- ** Product Roadmap Planning**: Collaborate with the product management team to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps and feature release cycles.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. Report to leadership on PMM success.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product marketing in the software industry.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and tactics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and creating onboarding workflows.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
