VCAT serves the community by resolving civil and administrative disputes and making decisions in human rights and guardianship cases. VCAT services a diverse range of Victorian disputes, from residential tenancy matters to complex building and property and human rights matters, which have a deep reach into the Victorian community and a direct impact on the economy, in particular, in planning, property, health and small business.

VCAT is headquartered in the Melbourne CBD, and also delivers its services online and in person across Victoria through its three standalone suburban venues and the network of regional court venues. VCAT has embarked on a digitally-enabled service transformation focused on delivering enhanced online services for our users, end to end digital workflows in all our lists, and building an empowered and capable workforce who are receptive and ready for change.

This position sits in VCAT's Business Services area within Facilities responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the services to support operations of VCAT.

**About the role**

The Facilities Officer will ensure that the assets & equipment are maintained and fit for purpose. This includes facilitating the appropriate acquisition of services and upkeep of infrastructure, managing repairs and cleaning schedules.

The incumbent will coordinate the relocation of staff and provide insight into office furniture arrangements.

The role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant Occupational Health and Safety requirements and providing appropriate communication to internal stakeholders.
