An experienced Contract Manager is needed for TasWater's expanding Procurement and Supply Chain business unit.
**Your new company**
TasWater is embarking on a business transformation program to further optimise how they deliver for their customers through the TasWater Supply Chain business unit. Hays Procurement is working closely with TasWater to identify and secure the talent needed to deliver this exciting evolution.

**Your new role**
Newly created, this role will see you leading and managing the contracts team to ensure the unparalleled delivery of TasWater's contract management strategy. You'll lead the pre-qualification process for contractors and consultants whilst assessing and managing the operational performance of service providers. You'll be providing strategic input into the review and development of policies, guidelines and resources to continually enhance the contract management function of the business. You'll proactively develop and lead positive and effective contractual relationships with supplies, vendors and contractors. This is s senior level role which will also see you leading, developing and managing a small team of procurement professionals.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll need to be a sound strategic thinker and visionary leader to ensure the supply chain services department achieves its strategic objectives. You'll be a career contract management specialist with tertiary qualifications in supply chain or commerce. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in the leadership of a contract management function whilst being an inspirational team leader.
