Findex is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, with the flexibility to work both from home and in the local office. This role will ideally be based in our Melbourne CBD office, however flexible for the right person.

**The Opportunity**

Findex is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, with the flexibility to work both from home and in the local office. This role will ideally be based in our Melbourne CBD office, however flexible for the right person.

The Accounts Payable Officer role is responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable team by providing day-to-day and related administrative services to our supplier group and internal team members.

**What will your typical week look like?**
- Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with company policy
- Prepare and process invoices for payment
- Reconciliation of supplier’s invoices and statements
- Responsible for following up on pricing discrepancies
- Resolve day-to-day issues relating to accounts
- Code/check GL account coding of invoices
- Handling telephone enquiries from creditors
- Provide various reports for month/year end to other finance team members
- Liaise with external creditors
- Ad-hoc projects and any other responsibilities assigned by the manager or team leader
- Handling of ticketing system queries (external and internal)

**Lets talk about you**
- Prior AP experience or a Graduate Accountant ready to kickstart their career
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to ‘hit the ground running’
- The ability to work cohesively in a small team
- Can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Be highly organised and have effective time management
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Concur experience (preferred)
