**Earthworks Supervisor**

Due to continued growth Georgiou are seeking an experienced Earthworks & Roads Supervisor to join our project based civil construction business. Working closely with the other supervisors and the Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to manage a crew in earthworks. You will be responsible for ensuring the days planned operational activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. This is a metro position working on an alliance project in the Midland area.

**What you’re good at**:
**You’re one of the best. Someone with**:
Previous supervisory experience on large civil construction projects
Previous detailed earthworks and civil earthworks/roads/pavement/services experience is essential
Must be able to complete daily shift reports and feed information back to engineers
Demonstrate an understanding of plant productivity and utilization on site
Strong IT skills and proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Experience in coordination of plant and earthworks resources on site

**What you’ll do (but not limited to)**:
Monitor a part of a project to ensure your section or package of work delivered on time and budget, within quality standards
Supervise a work team to deliver project outcomes
Manage a section of the construction program on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Identify and assist with the acquisition of resources ensuring adequate supplies, labour hire, etc. are available for the project
Carry out daily safety checks and ensure worksites are in a state consistent with safety and health standards
Assist the project management team with the development and implementation of process improvements which add value to the operations
Ensure the implementation and adherence of management plans, procedures and policies
Attend all investigations of accidents and incidents within the area of responsibility
Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements)
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
