**About the Assignment**

The Transaction Officer is responsible for providing transactional support to the Upstream Production Operations portfolio. The position will support the Cost Controls Lead and provide transactional officer services to several important producing assets.

Tasks include:

- Manage the transactional activities for PNG projects (Developments & Projects)
- Ensure the proper registration, validation and reporting of Invoices and actual costs that are charged to projects
- Ensure accurate preparation of purchase requisitions
- Prepare month end activities (Invoices processed / PO’s raised in readiness for accruals)
- Manage transactional processes from Coupa all the way through to Accounts payable
- Ensure all payment allocations are directed to the appropriate cost accounts
- Ensure that agreed plans, procedures, systems and guidelines are correctly implemented
- SES invoices and submit to Accounts in line with agreed payment terms
- Liaise with vendors as required
- Identify potential cost savings / efficiencies
- Process all contractor invoices on a monthly basis
- Maintain a high level of communication with Accounts Payable to ensure smooth transition to payment
- Assist in Project Closeout in all matters relating to cost transactions and Purchase Orders
- Management VAT, Foreign Withholding Tax for Timor-Leste (Bayu-Undan), working with the Santos Tax Department
- Management of Diesel Fuel Taxes and rebate process, working with the Santos Tax Department

This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.

**About You**
- Experience in cost and transactional data entry
- SAP experience (essential)
- Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders (Procurement and Contracts)
- Accounting/Business diploma (desirable)
- Experience in a cost and transactional processing role
- Ability to prepare and coordinate approval of invoices and management of vendors
