We are partnered with one of WA's best-known employers, for the recruitment of a Contract Manager, focusing on construction contracts and construction delivery works.
Some of the key points that you'll want to know:
- Development of the CMP that fully meets the contractual requirements in line with the contract management framework.
- Review the contracts management engagement deliverables including the SHE risks register, scope of work, specifications, drawing and pricing schedules.
- Ensure receipt and approval of contractors plans in with the contract.
- Monitor and manage compliance to the contractor plans including safety, environmental, quality, schedule, and pricing schedule.
- Verify and certify contractors claims, including progress, variations and EOT.
- Complete contractor performance reporting requirements.
In terms of your background, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in similar role within the construction sector
- Experience in building or construction contract management
- Demonstrated experience with contract management, including specific experience negotiating, administering, and reviewing risk for contracts.
- Understanding of project cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully interact at all levels.
