**About the role**:
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Managing and reporting on-going and pre -employment medical reports data
- Managing workcover claims for business, performing admin duties for the workcover claims (such as data entry, uploading certificates, managing and filing communications)
- Attending appointments, claim lodgement, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing support and assistance to injured workers and supervisors with identifying/addressing any needs or potential Return-to-Work barriers.
- Coordinating with WHSEQ advisors regarding injuries (identifying first aid or other medical intervention required) and ensuring incident reports are completed in a timely manner
- Meeting and supporting injured workers & supervisors to ensure work duties undertaken are under Certified Medical Work Capacity.
- Attending medical appointments with workers and consulting the treating doctors to check on undergoing investigations and assessing work capacity whilst recovering
- Keeping relevant stakeholders updated with progress/changes in work capacity and/or suitable duties.
- Participate in Return-to-Work planning by assisting claims agent in preparing and implementing Recovery/ Return-to-Work plans
- Managing Diary for the Health and Wellbeing, Learning and Development, HR & WHSEQ Managers
- Arranging travel and accommodation for the teams as and when required
- Perform other ad hoc duties as and when required
**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- To have a Current Valid Driver’s Licence
- To have Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software easily
- Previous experience with administrative tasks, reception or similar
- Customer Service experience in a face-to-face role
- To have good time management skills and be able to work under pressure
- To have the ability to work independently
Desirable:
- To know the relevant Return to Work Acts
- To have Injury management experience
- Previous experience in Return-to-Work Coordinator role
