**The role**:
As the Portfolio Management Consultant, you will report to the Portfolio Manager C&IB Deposits, within the Corporate & Institutional Banking Division. The Portfolio Management Consultant will be responsible for developing an ‘insights hub’, driving improvements in product performance via actionable insights, and building up the team’s data and analytics capability. An analytical and commercial mindset, attention to detail and ability to engage with a broad range of both technical and non-technical stakeholders, will ensure success in this role.

**In this role, you'll have the opportunity to**:

- Showcase your deep understanding of portfolio management, the deposits portfolio, and its associated levers
- Maintain and improve reporting and insights that feed into key forums across the business
- Develop rich insights, recommendations and initiatives to shape the portfolio in line with client, business, treasury and enterprise outcomes / appetite
- Manage end-to-end analytical projects including the delivery of Power BI dashboards
- Support the acceleration of the data and analytics culture across the organisation

**What you'll bring**:

- 5+ years experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment
- Experience developing data visualisation dashboards (PowerBI highly advantageous)
- Experience delivering analytical projects
- Advanced SQL/SAS and Excel skills
- Strong ability to extract and manipulate data across a range of database types (Oracle, Teradata, SAS dataset)
- Strong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations
- Ability to effectively to communicate to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Mathematics, Financial or Computer/Data Science discipline
