**The Opportunity**

**Portfolio Analyst - 3 month contract**

We are seeking a capable and motivated Portfolio Analyst to support the planning, coordination, and governance of our IT delivery portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of agile delivery and portfolio practices who enjoys working across teams to improve planning and execution.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support portfolio planning and reporting, helping improve visibility and alignment across initiatives.
- Track resourcing plans and delivery progress across agile and non-agile projects.
- Facilitate quarterly planning and contribute to strategic outlooks for upcoming delivery cycles.
- Liaise directly with the enterprise PMO to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Assist with governance processes, including project stage gates and compliance with council-specific requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help uplift planning maturity.
- Keep delivery momentum by identifying blockers and supporting delivery leads.

**About You**
- Experience in portfolio or program coordination, ideally within an agile delivery environment.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (SAFe preferred) and portfolio backlog management.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across teams.
- Comfortable working with delivery data, planning tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Able to support conversations with senior stakeholders, including at the executive level.
