The Role
The Onboarding and Portfolio Services Consultant is responsible for the initial and ongoing administration of Private Wealth client accounts. This includes onboarding new clients, maintaining and updating accounts, managing FATCA/CRS reporting, processing inspecie transfers, and handling account closures. The role interacts closely with internal teams such as Support, Distribution, Reconciliation, Trade Support, and occasionally Tech and Learning & Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing Applications - ensuring all documentation (including AML and FATCA/CRS) is complete and accurate.
- Maintaining and Updating Client Accounts - ensuring records are accurate and current.
- Investigate and resolve adviser and client queries - ensuring high-quality service and timely responses.
- Group Inbox Management.
Desired Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Tertiary degree in a business-related field; RG146 desirable.
- Minimum 2 years in funds management, platforms, or custody environments, with understanding of Custody and Superannuation frameworks.
- Experience in account administration and AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, W-8Ben forms.
- Solid understanding of platform/reporting systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and cloud-based software.
- Proven problem-solving skills in a financial services environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a consultative and cooperative approach.
