Purpose:
- The Internal Communications team is a part of the wider adidas Global Corporate Communication Team. The function plays a crucial role in enhancing the company's reputation and positively impacting employee’s engagement by developing key messages, impactful storylines, key employee engagement activities and business communication to the internal audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee engagement activities and projects in line with Global and Emerging Markets by working closely with key stakeholders to inspire and drive positive employee engagement, support creating a more diverse and inclusive culture, and contribute to the department's KPIs across adidas owned corporate media internal channels (I.e., adidas intranet, a-LIVE, adidas external blog Inside3Stripes, Viva Engage and more)
- In line with global key themes, create tactical and engaging plans and activities for employees to connect or collaborate virtually and in person and contribute to the quarterly internal communication and employee engagement calendar.
- Work closely with Pacific’s Senior Leadership Team as an internal communication partner and communication consultant to support delivering impactful content and landing global key messages across key internal channels, based on EM strategy, plan and key messages
- Support in executing and elevating Pacific’s GM communication and content across all the internal channels
- Partner with HR to execute communication framework for impactful People related topics such as employee awards and recognition and tell inspiring and powerful stories across internal channels.
- Implement regular all-employee meetings in Pacific by executing the plan, run-of-show, scripting, collaborating with stakeholders and employees, and creating, sourcing, and editing inspiring content, visuals, and videos.
- Lead on all the logistics, production, event management and requirements for all employee meetings in Pacific on-site while also ensuring a smooth broadcast to all virtual attendees.
- Elevate Pacific’s key success stories or moments across EM/global by developing impactful storylines, internal articles and content and publishing in key internal channels & maintain editorial content and activity calendar accordingly.
- Support in providing input and updates to the EM team for EM-wide All Employee Meetings, video/content creation, internal articles, etc.
- Lead on some selected Region-wide campaigns to contribute to & gain experience with wider EM region
- Develop quarterly review reports by extracting KPI data from the key internal channels, assess qualitative & quantitative performance and key insights
- Execute communication strategies and plan for change communications for key stakeholders - in line with EM & Global guidelines and standards
- Support in managing potential internal crisis/issues communication across Pacific based on EM direction
- Budget responsibility for assigned area of responsibility

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- University degree in communication or similar field
- 4 - 5 years of working experience in a Corporate/ Internal Communication department
- Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in partnering closely with leaders and developing leadership communication for a large organization.
- Experience in working with or within HR or interest in community organizing, public policy, and diversity, equity and inclusion is a plus
- Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions, and dynamics within an international company
- Comprehensive understanding of communication and business acumen
- Excellent communication expertise and English fluency, both written and verbal (quality, consistency, and accuracy)
- Excellent project & event management skills and coordinating content for activities/events
- Strong experience in managing physical and virtual production, including live interactive broadcast events, preferable on MS Teams
- Excellent storytelling and creative visual skills, including video production and slide design
- Advanced in Microsoft Office, and skilled in video or moving content creation and editing
- A good understanding of data analytics for website and social platforms
- Ability to think and act strategically and support developing operational plans
- Strong communication skills to negotiate with internal and/or external partners
- Effective team player who can work collaboratively across all functions and disciplines
- Meticulous with excellent attention to details
- Solution-oriented and can-do attitude
- Mindful and eager to learn
- Passion for sport and communications
