The role operates within HSBC Australia’s WPB Channels Operations Team, and is essential for the successful and efficient operation of the business, and the ongoing implementation of the WPB Strategy for Channels. This role will work with the rest of the WPB business, Stakeholders Data & Analytics and will help turn shape the broad Channel Strategy into work plans, priorities and roadmap.
Some specific areas the Channel Performance and Productivity Lead is responsible for include, but not limited to: Channel Attribution & Profitability, Operational efficiency, Revenue optimisation, Cost optimisation & Branch optimisation
**Key responsibilities**:
- Help support the Channels leadership team to develop, implement and execute the channels strategic plan
- Recommend and implement solutions and business interventions to ensure productivity and performance uplift across all channels
- Identify areas of improvement within sales channels from capability and process perspective and lead the development and completion of business cases, sales insights and reporting
- Support the leadership team through insights and market knowledge to develop a strategy to ensure a best practice operation is in place
- Ensure all prdocusts, programs and policies meet legal, statutory, internal audit and compliance standards
- Channel attribution and profitability
Requirements
**Requirements**:
- Relvant leadership experience in financial services, wealth management or retail banking environments
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to build strong stakeholer relationships
- CA/ CPA Qualification preferred but not essential
- GCP & SQL experience preferred
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data
