Are you passionate about communications, marketing, and event coordination? Join our dynamic Employability team as a Communications and Events Officer

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing all communications and marketing materials for the Employability teams. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and create tailored content across a range of platforms, including the website, student systems, print materials, and social media channels.

Additionally, you will provide essential event and program support, assisting with the smooth execution of key initiatives such as workshops, webinars, and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs. You will play a vital role in the logistics of these events, ensuring every detail is handled to ensure their success.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and marketing skills, experience in event coordination, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while collaborating with diverse teams. Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms will be essential for success in this position.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Experience of developing and implementing marketing and communication plans and products.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high level, quality services within a demanding, client focused environment.
- High level written and verbal communication skills to ensure appropriate standards of communication to internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of a positive and cooperative team environment, as well as the ability to operate independently.
- Demonstrated high level ability and skills in the use of Microsoft Office software packages including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and undertake tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Qualifications**
Completion of an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
