With long standing accreditations for OHS, Environment and Quality and a focus on ensuring the optimal health of all of our employees, we are looking for an experienced **HSEQ Compliance Officer **to join the People, Safety and Culture team.

You will be responsible for providing efficient administrative services to the PSC team on all matters relating to the health and safety of our employees, and the environmental and quality processes in place. Day to day, you will be undertaking the following:

- Manage Administrative tasks including drafting HSEQ policies, plans, programs, and systems to meet organisational objectives;
- Maintain weekly HSEQ metrics and data, SG CAR log management systems, and undertake reporting requirements for hazard, injury and incident management;
- Ensure Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) is reflective of current work practices
- Support injury management processes, WorkCover for managerial reporting, Workers Compensation claims and work related and non-work related return to work programs effectively;
- Draft and revise SWMS and risk assessments for HSEQ Consultant review;
- Administering environmental Systems including site improvement plans, Environmental Protection Authority Licensing, monitoring, reporting, publishing, incident response management, co-ordinating and issuing EMP’s and CEMPs;
- Coordinate Random Drug and Alcohol Testing as required;
- Coordinate HSRCC meetings and nominations;
- Produce and communicate Safety Alerts following incidents to promote learning and minimise the risk of recurrence;
- Produce and communicate monthly toolboxes to maximise safety and culture at SG
- Communicate with and complete requests by Contract and Operations Managers in relation to matters pertaining to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
- Work closely with the HSEQ division to coordinate and record internal and external safety audits;
- Assist in the preparation and scheduling of annual ISO certification audit; and
- Build and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships (with self-directed site visits and audits - 2 per month as a minimum).
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role,
- Should have a strong administration background
- Experience to manage return to work plans, HSEQ metrics/reporting and policy, process and procedure drafting and formatting.
