We have an exciting opportunity for an **HSEQ Coordinator** to join our team. This role is based in **Tullamarine, Melbourne Domestic Terminal, VIC** for our **Qantas** account**.**

**The Role**

The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BGIS Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) to:

- Provide BGIS HSEQ expertise and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
- Maintain WHS, environmental and client system compliance
- Update website content on HSEQ processes, procedures and records
- Manage internal HSEQ audits, Project WHS inspections, safety investigations and incident reporting
- Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly HSEQ reporting
- Provide training and technical support as required.

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate IV in WHS
- 1+ years’ experience in an HSEQ Coordinator role or similar, and 3+ years in a construction, property management, facility management or trades role
- Working knowledge of HSEQ management systems and standards including AS/NZS 4801 and AS/NZS ISO 14001
- Proven experience conducting safety inspections
- Ability to write reports, review safety documentation e.g. SWMS and safety plans, and issue work permits e.g. work at heights, hot works and confined space permits
- Able to respond quickly to change and adopt an innovative and collaborative approach to safety management.
