**About the role**

The Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Curriculum Program Operations Directorate at the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting educational initiatives and enjoys the challenge of managing administrative functions in a dynamic environment. You will lead a small team to deliver high-quality administrative services, contributing directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of NESA's curriculum programs.

**On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for**:

- Leading and coordinating a small team to provide comprehensive administrative support.
- Addressing and resolving complex and sensitive inquiries in a timely manner.
- Developing and refining administrative systems and processes to align with agency standards.
- Supporting small-scale events and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Gathering and analysing data to prepare reports on business performance and recommend improvements.
- Handling ad hoc requests from senior leadership to support operational needs.
- Proven experience in providing administrative support to large teams, preferably in an educational setting.
- A strong track record of implementing technology-driven administrative systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within project-driven environments, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
