**The Role**
ALS is seeking enthusiastic Technicians to join our Metallurgical Services Business. This is a casual role but working full time shift work hours with the opportunity to work up to 12 hours shifts based on projects. Reporting to the Area Supervisor your responsibilities, as a team member, will be to safely and successfully operate pilot plants and perform bench scale testwork to meet the expectations of our clients.

These are not FIFO mine site positions. Work will be based in Perth, Western Australia in the suburb of Balcatta.
- Previous exposure to mine site testwork would be advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of mineral processing or equipment operation would be very beneficial

**The day to day**
- Supporting the Area Supervisor and Team leaders you will assist in performing bench testwork and operating Pilot plants.
- Follow procedures to complete test work to a high standard.
- Accurate record keeping, capturing and processing control samples.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the work place.
- Assist in construction of Pilot plants.

**The essentials**
- Good communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to undertake day and afternoon shift work as required.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
